Dr. Kelly Horvath
DDS
Dr. Kelly Horvath began her dental career as a dental hygienist, earning her degree in 1993. Dr. Kelly went on to receive her dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, IN. While attending dental school, she also served as President of the dental schools' Ethics and Professionalism Committee. Dr. Kelly was a scholarship recipient for the Delta Dental Leadership award and was nominated for the Leading Women in Dentistry award.
After graduating, Dr. Kelly worked as an associate dentist in a dental practice outside of Indianapolis. Dr. Kelly loved the experience she gained there but soon realized she wanted a more relaxed lifestyle and a career in a smaller community. After a very diligent search looking for the right area, Crossville, TN jumped off the map. Dr. Kelly immediately fell in love with the area and the office of Crossville Smiles.
Dr. Kelly is a member of the American Dental Association and belongs to the Crossville Dental Study Club. She holds advanced training in Six Month Smiles orthodontics. Most recently, Crossville Smiles received the "Best Dentist in Crossville" award voted by the community in 2013. Dr. Kelly and her husband, Frank, have two sons. Noel, Dr. Kelly's stepson, attends college at St. Francis in Fort Wayne, IN, studying business, and Nicholas, attends South Cumberland Elementary School.
Dr. Kelly spends her free time with her family, mainly following sports activities. Her entire family loves golf and enjoys home projects. Dr. Kelly looks forward to serving the community for many years to come, as she believes that quality dental care is necessary not only for good dental health but also for an overall healthy lifestyle.
Kristie Tollett
Office Manager
Kristie is our office manager and business manager for Dr. Kelly. She'll be assisting you with insurance and any other financial questions that you may have. Kristie came to our office in February 2009 as a dental assistant. In 2012, she was promoted to office manager and enjoys working with the patients and the team on a more personal basis.
Kristie lives in Crossville with her husband, Jerry. She enjoys cooking, reading, activities with her church, and yard sales with her husband.
Shannon Lance
Receptionist
Shannon will be the first person to greet you as you enter our newly remodeled office. Shannon came to Crossville Smiles in April 2012. Shannon has worked previously in the medical field. Our office was the first dental office Shannon had ever worked.
She has enjoyed becoming familiar with the business of dentistry and exceeds in the responsibilities of her position. Shannon and her husband, James, have three beautiful children who keep them very busy. Shannon also enjoys reading and loves Pinterest.
Maleah Griffin
RDA
Maleah wears many hats in the office. Maleah started her career in the dental field as a dental assistant. She has now returned to Roane State, taking classes to continue her education to become a dental hygienist. Maleah works hand-in-hand with our team of hygienists as a dental hygiene assistant and also assists with operative care.
Maleah enjoys the outdoors. She loves her animals and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers at the Hebbertsberg community center monthly.
Christy Vandever
RDA, Expanded Functions
Christy came to Crossville Smiles in 2011. Christy has been a dental assistant for nine years. Christy has just recently expanded her dental education and became Crossville Smiles' first Expanded Function Dental Assistant. We pride ourselves in staying current in the ever-changing world of dentistry.
Christy has two beautiful children. Christy and her family love the water. They have a houseboat they visit every weekend and look forward to spending time together.
Nancy Hoover-Fore
RDH
Nancy came to Crossville Smiles in March 2013. Nancy completes our team with her caring and compassionate personality. Nancy has never met a stranger she didn't like and will make each patient feel they are her highest priority. Nancy has been a hygienist for over 20 years. The expertise in our hygiene department is above any other.
Nancy has lived in Crossville for 18 years. She has two daughters and one grandson (who happens to be the apple of his Nana's eye). Nancy enjoys being out in nature, going to church, and being with her church family. But mostly, she loves spending time with family and friends.
Kathy Page
RDH
Kathy came to Crossville Smiles in August 2012. Kathy has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years. Kathy is the most energetic and cheerful of us all. Kathy enjoys making her patients laugh and, believe it or not, truly enjoy themselves during their dental visit.
Kathy was born and raised in Kentucky but soon moved to Tennessee and attended ETSU. Kathy and her two sons live in Crossville. Kathy has spent the last 10 years reaching out to the community. She's very dedicated to helping people who need a hand up in life.
